Gently cooked taralli I Tropeani with extra virgin olive oil
Delicious taralli, flavoured with Tropea Calabria GPI red onion. They are perfect to be served as an aperitif or in combination with a starter.
Taralli are prepared by using only premium flour and extra virgin olive oil (from “coratina” olive variety).
The dough is enriched by white wine, for the most typical flavour. Taralli are then hand-tied, one by one, blanched in water and baked to perfection in a wood fired oven: so they result gently cooked and extremely crusty!
More, handmade preparation is visible in the irregular shape and different colours of taralli, which make them as good as grannies’ taralli.
